Before installation, our team of experts will examine your roof to ensure its integrity, and draw up a plan to make sure that your roof makes the most of the sun available in the area.

While rooftop mounts are restricted by the size, location, and angle of your roof, a ground mounted system can be placed anywhere on your property to ensure maximum exposure to the sun. Whether location, cost, or lack of ownership is the reason solar cannot be installed, Community Solar offers an equal access option. With Community Solar, a locally maintained solar facility is shared by multiple community subscribers who pay for the right to receive credit on their electric bills for a share of the power produced by the Community Solar farm. Steps in the solar process
A Harvest Power consultant will come by for an in-home solar energy evaluation. They will provide you with all the information you need to decide if switching to solar power is right for you and your home. We will also take a look at your utility bill and educate you on your possible savings. This will give you a great opportunity to get to know Harvest Power and your consultant a bit better.
Once your home has been evaluated, we will begin configuring your custom solar energy system. Using the newest technologies available we will plan a design that will ensure you get all the power you need while also saving the most money possible.
With a design tailored specifically with your family in mind, a Harvest Power technician will stop by your home to take measurements. The technician will need access to the interior and exterior of your home to take pictures of your roof, attic, and electrical box for our engineers. We are able to complete this step very quickly so you can get on with your day.
Once our engineers have approved the plan you will receive the final layout of your very own solar energy system. All that is left before we start building is the paperwork; but don’t worry, we take care of that for you too! We will submit the permitting and interconnection documents to the local municipality and utility company on your behalf.
With the green light from the town and the utility company we are ready to go! When you are able to decide on a date, we will arrive at approximately 8:30am to get an early start on your project. When the installation is complete, the only major difference you’ll notice is having a bunch of extra money in your pocket every month!
